ETV has worked with the Gala Coral Group since January 2009, during this time we’ve created the ultimate gaming destination in Gala TV.
The channel had previously been produced by Endemol UK.
Gala Coral decided to re-launch the channel on 1st February 2009 and set us the challenge of recruiting a new player base, retain Gala’s bingo loyalists and to make bingo cool again.
We’ve worked with Gala every step of the way responding to the community of players, moving the channel online and frequently breaking winner records.
our idea
We launched a glossy new Sky and Freesat channel featuring eight hours of live bingo shows, seven days a week. Each player was given star treatment with their name and location in lights and their photo taking centre stage on screen, in front of brand new part virtual, part real set. As viewer habits changed, we re-launched Gala TV exclusively online in 2011, to offer the best interactive bingo experience around in the correct medium for the audience.
We’ve built up the gaming community through a myriad of interactive graphics, chatrooms, skype calls and side games. We’ve created winner maps to help players measure their winning odds and our players’ wall celebrates every Gala TV player, not just the winners!
